Hardware Scholarship Winner Named

New York, NY -- Robert J. Ruhland, AHC, of Maplewood, Minn., has been awarded a professional scholarship to further his expertise in architectural hardware. He is a sales representative at Twin City Hardware Company in Oakdale, Minn.

The scholarship, sponsored by the Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA) and the Door & Hardware Institute (DHI) Education Foundation, provides tuition and associated costs for attending a DHI Technical School of the recipient's choice. The award can be used for any Technical School session between November 1, 2000 and December 31, 2001. Ruhland has indicated an interest in electronic hardware.

The BHMA/DHI scholarship is awarded in memory of Adon H. Brownell, DAHC, a highly respected hardware consultant, educator and author who served the building industry with distinction for more than 50 years.
